What We Do

At The Memory Connection, we provide a range of innovative solutions designed to meet the specific needs of individuals with cognitive decline and their caregivers:

Dementia-Friendly Products

We source and distribute puzzles, activity boxes, sensory items, and engagement tools specifically designed to stimulate cognitive abilities and provide moments of joy and connection for individuals with dementia. Sensory stimulation and engagement can help reduce agitation and improve mood, making these resources critical for quality dementia care.

Activity Boxes

Activity boxes are carefully curated kits that contain a variety of items such as puzzles, fidget toys, art supplies, and sensory tools. These items are designed to engage individuals with dementia in meaningful ways, stimulating their minds and providing comfort.

Sensory Items

Sensory items can help soothe anxiety and foster a sense of security. These tools are designed to improve focus, reduce agitation, and bring comfort to individuals with dementia.

Caregiver Education and Resources

Our educational initiatives can help caregivers build skills, gain confidence, and find support—enabling them to balance caring for their loved ones and caring for themselves.

Adult Day Scholarship Programs

The Memory Connection provides scholarships that cover the cost of attendance at licensed adult day programs for older adults living with dementia or cognitive decline. These scholarships increase access to high-quality, social-supportive care while offering essential respite for caregivers—including those in the Sandwich Generation who balance care for both children and aging parents.

While The Memory Connection does not operate adult day programs directly, we fund participation on behalf of eligible individuals. This support allows care recipients to engage in enriching, structured activities in safe and supportive settings—giving their loved ones peace of mind and a much-needed break from the demands of caregiving.

Online Resources and Support Groups

Caregivers can be directed to a variety of resources and references, including, but not limited to, downloadable guides, educational videos, virtual support networks, and community programs, offering support, connection, and practical tools for caregiving.

Community and Corporate Partnerships

By partnering with pharmaceutical companies, healthcare providers, other non-profits and local community centers, we work to expand our reach and build a strong support network for families impacted by dementia.  These partnerships will help amplify our impact and create a robust network of resources for those in need.

Building Bridges in Memory Care Innovation

At The Memory Connection, we are committed to staying at the forefront of memory care advancements to better support individuals with dementia and their caregivers. To achieve this, we aim to engage with pharmaceutical companies and research organizations to deepen our understanding of emerging treatments, innovative care strategies, and the latest developments in neuroscience.

Expanding Access for All

Support for Underserved Communities

We prioritize outreach to underserved communities, including families facing economic challenges. Our goal is to ensure that every individual and family impacted by dementia has access to resources that make a difference.

Supporting Families Locally

Targeted Outreach Programs

We work with local organizations to identify families in need and provide them with essential resources, including dementia-friendly activity kits and educational materials. We are committed to ensuring that no family faces the challenges of dementia alone.
